To celebrate the flavours of Whistler and the spirit of après we are proud to announce the launch of our very own delectable spirit – Blackcomb Gin. Made in collaboration between Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Montis Distillery.
This bespoke batch is infused with unique flavors of the Sea to Sky region, and thoughtfully crafted with Pemberton Valley hops, cedar tips, juniper berries, grapefruit peel, coriander, ginger, and orris root.
This après spirit is perfect after an adventure filled day available for purchase at Portobello. Whether for you or as a gift to a loved one, experience the essence of Whistler’s alpine allure and the spirit of adventure with every sip.

We are proud to feature Blackcomb Mountain Gin in The Mallard Lounge in the Northern Soul cocktail. The essence of the cocktail is to accentuate the flavour profile and botanicals in the Blackcomb Mountain Gin.

NORTHERN SOUL (2 oz) RECIPE
- 1.5 oz Blackcomb Mountain Gin
- 0.5 oz Lillet
- 0.5 oz Grapefruit Juice
- 0.5 oz Lemon Juice
- 0.5 oz House made Steamworks Flagship IPA syrup
- 0.5 oz Ginger Purée
- 1 oz Egg Whites
- Method: Build, shake dry, shake wet, strain
To add the finishing touch, garnish your cocktail with a hop stencil bitter spray.
