Fairmont Chateau Whistler Reveals Latest Room Renovation
Whistler, BC –Continuing its extensive and ambitious renovation project, today Fairmont Chateau Whistler has unveiled its most recent – and highly anticipated – guestroom renovation after another significant multimillion-dollar investment.
Following a complete restaurant revamp in 2017/18 and the creation of 11 new Alpine Suites in 2016/17, the latest renovations saw a $4.3 million investmentinto the remaining 33 non-Fairmont Gold Suites. This investment dramatically enhances every suite with the installation of fireplaces (perfect for those cozy winter months), modern spa bathrooms with soaker tub, and updated modern alpine décor, plus a generous built-in wet bar in the larger suites.
Furthermore, the creation of new Two Bedroom Suites will appeal to larger groups of friends and family traveling together on ski vacations or summer holidays. Spacious and luxurious, the two private bedrooms in each suite are separated by an expansive residential-style living space – perfect for entertaining – complete with new fireplace, plus a dining area and Juliet balcony in select suites. The sleeping quarters comprise of one king-bedded guest room and one guest room with two queen beds, as well a pullout sofa bed, allowing for a maximum occupancy of eight guests per suite. Each suite is finished with leather, marble and stone detailing, three flat screen televisions, and three luxurious bathrooms.
To celebrate the sweetest suite renovation in the 30 year history of the hotel, Fairmont Chateau Whistler has announced an all new Suite Experience Package. In addition to luxurious suite accommodation, the package includes priority check-in, dedicated concierge services and access to preferred dining reservations, priority tee times at Fairmont Chateau Whistler Golf Club, dedicated Fairmont BMW car service, and so much more.
